I am Jessica, owner of Gracious Life Photography, and I specialize in newborn, whole family, maternity, and motherhood portraiture. My life experiences and former career have beautifully prepared me to serve my families with heartfelt imagery. I love children-led sessions that focus on the beautiful details and natural dynamics unique to your family. There is something so special about the joy and excitement surrounding a new baby! Whether this is your first pregnancy or you already have a house full of littles, I can’t wait to document this special season for your family.
Although pregnancy can have its challenges, it really goes by so quickly. A maternity session is the perfect way to celebrate your bump and remember this exciting season before everything changes! I generally photograph moms-to-be between weeks 30-33.
I’m here to help you choose the perfect session location as well as a dress that will make you feel like the gorgeous goddess that you are! I will help you prepare for our time together and will direct you throughout our session so we can get those dreamy images that you’ll love to look back on in the years to come. If you’re interested in having a hair and makeup artist help you look your most beautiful, I am happy to recommend a professional who will spoil you rotten!

Congratulations, Mama! There is something so special about those first few weeks with your baby. I’m here to help document this beautiful season and deliver a gallery full of images that will bring you back in time.
Newborn sessions normally occur shortly after you bring your baby home from the hospital, but I can accommodate your baby’s newborn photos up to six months of age. Sessions take place in my studio in Hendersonville, an outdoor location of your choice (during our warm months), or in your home. Sessions taking place in your home will be limited to one or two sunny rooms during the morning hours (so there's no need to clean your house from top to bottom!) My style is light, natural, and simplistic so the main focus remains on you and your precious new baby. Authenticity and connection is what makes life so beautiful!
Your experience is just as important to me as the images I deliver, so I will let you know exactly how to prepare for our session with my detailed newborn session guide. I will take as much time as necessary to make sure your little one is safe and happy during our time together…I will never rush.
